A More Personal Way to Book Your Event Music
I handle the full night of music so you can focus on your guests. Before the event, we talk through your timeline, key songs, and any songs to avoid. On the day, I bring the equipment, manage the transitions, and keep the energy steady from the first song to the last.
Every set is built around the crowd in front of me. I watch how people respond and adjust the tempo, genre mix, and volume to match the moment. The goal is a night that feels effortless for you and memorable for everyone attending.
Ideal For
Weddings and receptions
Birthday and anniversary parties
Corporate events and holiday gatherings
Private parties and community celebrations
How It Works
Request Your Date: Send an email or DM with your event date, location, and expected guest count.
Plan Your Music: We review your timeline, must-play songs, and any preferences together.
Enjoy The Event: I arrive early, set up, and run the music so you can relax and celebrate.
About
I am Jody Tyler, a DJ who believes music is at the heart of every good night and every meaningful moment. I bring multiple genres to the booth, from multiple aspects of House Music, Amapiano, R&B, Soul, Funk, UK Funk, HIP HOP, Dance Hall and Rock. I read the room so every crowd leaves feeling connected. Whether I am spinning for ten people or five hundred, my goal is the same: to turn the night into an experience that lifts the spirit. I’m the resident DJ at The Hive Bar and Grill (Downtown Richmond.) Traveling to DJ state to state is always in the plans. I bring the same creative energy to every booking.
If you want a DJ who will adapt to your crowd and keep the good vibes flowing, reach out by email or direct message.
